JSR-engineering is headed by me, Jannik Sadolin, with some good help from a few similar minded car enthusiasts and a good machine shop. I’m a mechanical engineer with vast R&D experience in the medical industry, food analysis equipment and vehicle design. My hobby is sports cars and motorsport. I have a Lotus Elan for the road and race a Formula Ford 2000 (Reynard SF87) in historic races.
I was contacted by some friends who wanted to update their 911s with modern fuel injection but wanted to make something better than what was on the marked. The choice fell on roller barrels because of the excellent flow characteristics, but usually they are very bulky, so the idea came up with the elliptical barrels. They are not so easy to machine, and this is where the good machine shop comes in.
After a lot of design iterations, simulations and tests we have come to this design. It was first intended to our own cars, but soon friends and friends of friends wanted some and now you can too.
Future developments: along with more performance parts for Porsche, we are also working on Elliptical Roller Barrels for the Rover K-series engine used in the Lotus Elise and Caterham Seven.
Q. I have a different size intake diameter than you list, can you do something?
A. Let us know what you need, we can do custom fit.
Q. I'm not sure whitch size ITB to choose?
A. Let us know what you have and we will guide you to the best option.
Q. Can I use othe fuel injectors than EV6?
A. The ITBs are made for the EV6 tyoe injector, other designs can be made by special order.
